A Brand New Year

As I'm sure you've all seen, its that time of year again on Fate of the Republic. We are a free MUD and a community of players who want to see the MUD itself go on, and be enjoyed by others as we have enjoyed it.
In order to do that, we need the server hosting fees met by early April. This is a voluntary drive to raise funds to support the MUD. All donations are very much appreciated and have the added bonus of quest points being allotted to the character of your choice as described on the website.

People give up their time to admin, code and run this game because they enjoy it. We have a family here who are committed to keeping the place running and welcoming new players to a game we are proud to be part of. Thank you to all of you who continue to work hard to keep Fate of the Republic the home we come back to.

The Design a T-Shirt competition had .. interesting results and I have to say we are still determining a suitable prospect for the fashion statements I'm sure all of you are busting to model in your local community. I know I am...
Perhaps Design a Mug was a more suitable starting point.. but, undeterred I am still hoping to implement a couple of novelty items we can use to 'brighten' up our every day life and remind us of the fun times here, chasing forcers, dying dramatically and taunting pirates.
